You may check this for any new updates to the plan and schedule as they happen. If you need help with getting signed up and scheduled for your preferred dates please call or email me. I will send another update as soon as Habitat opens the schedule. The current schedule has the Coalition building on the following dates: Saturday 10/6, 10/13, 11/3, 11/10, 11/17. The Dedication will be December 15.
We are deeply sorry for the delays in confirming the schedule. We are looking forward to having a Safe, Successful, and Satisfying Build.

The Cobb Catholic Coalition is building its 42nd & 43rd homes (St. Clare’s 7th& 8th builds) in conjunction with North Metro Habitat for Humanity. The homes will be built in 9 weeks from September 8th to November 3rd. Dedication is planned for November 17.
No construction experience is necessary; trained crew leaders will teach you what you need to know for each work day.
This Year’s Build
Thank you for volunteering to help. We are building 2 houses side-by-side the temporary address is 1071 Old Bankhead Hwy, Mableton for GPS purposes. Parking is available at Picture Frame Depot, 1701 Veterans Memorial Highway. You may park at the back of the lot and walk to the site.
Start and Stop Time
Arrive by 7:45AM in time for the 8:00AM Meeting. Finish by 4:00PM, possibly earlier depending on activities & availability of volunteers.
Breakfast snacks & coffee will be available. Lunch is served at Noon. Water, energy drinks, & snacks are available all day.
What to Bring and Wear
No open toe shoes or sandals allowed. Comfortable Old Clothes. Plan for weather. All tools are provided. Gloves are available. You may bring your own.
Registration & Event Sign UP
Teens age 16 or 17 may work at any time. They may not use power tools. Teens age 14 or 15 may ONLY volunteer on Landscaping Day (11/3). youth age 17 or less must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. A Waiver will be emailed to the minor following registration. Give the signed waiver to the Safety Manager on arrival at the event
Request a copy of the Minor Waiver by Email from: Volunteers@nwmetroatlantahabitat.org.
Registration – Create or Update an Account
At bottom of page, click on SIGN IN / REGISTER tab
- Enter Email address and First name, click NEXT
If you already have a user profile from 2017
- Enter your Password, click SIGN IN TO CERVIS
(If you cannot remember password, click ‘Don’t know Password/Reset Password’)
- Otherwise Create a Password
- Complete or update your user profile
- Under Volunteer Groups, check the box for CCC-StClare
- Check the box to accept the Liability / Medical Waiver
- When finished, click on UPDATE VOLUNTEER PROFILE
Registration-for Workdays (events)

Click on REGISTER FOR AN UPCOMING EVENT
Below STEP 1 Box, click on ‘Use Reservation Code’ – Enter CCC, click on ‘Apply Reservation Code’
- Our build is broken down into 2 events:
‘Catholic x2’ for volunteer dates: Sep 8 – Oct 27
‘Catholic Landscaping’ for volunteer date: Nov 3
- Click on radial button next to the desired event – Click on ‘Click here to choose time slots’
- Select the date(s) you wish to volunteer, click on ‘Register’
- Directions to parking will be included in your confirmation Email.
You should only register for those time slots that you can actually attend. We build our teams and plan our activities based on the registrations we receive. We will complete the 2 homes on the 9-week schedule. It is just more difficult if we are shorthanded. You are able to log in and edit your reservations any time up to 9 days before the actual activity.
