Hurricane Helene Relief

Eye of the Storm Image from Outer Space

As pictures and videos of the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene continue to pour in from Florida, through Georgia, and into the Carolinas and Tennessee, we want you to be aware of a few ways you can help right now.

Pray –

Let us pray for the safety of those still awaiting rescue, for the injured, and for those who mourn the loss of loved ones. We lift up those anxiously awaiting news of family and friends, and we pray for all who have come to help—first responders, firefighters, law enforcement, utility workers, and the brave crews using heavy equipment and chainsaws, risking their lives to save others. May hearts be moved to respond, and may volunteers come forward to help rebuild these communities and homes. We pray for the safety of all who serve in this effort. Lord, hear our prayer.

Give –

Donations are specific to each area impacted as needs for resources change after a disaster. The best way to help at this time is to provide funds for items that are needed that then can be purchased and sent directly to the sites as their needs are identified.  If you would like direction, Local Catholic Charities Agencies are on the ground providing life-sustaining assistance and we encourage you to donate to their efforts. Please give generously. To donate, please click here.
