The holy monk Benedict told us that “every day we begin again.”
Therefore, no matter where we are in our journey towards the Lord, it is important to take time to come to know Him better.
Here at St. Clare, we have an ever-expanding list of opportunities for adult parishioners to grow in their faith.
Please scroll through this page to learn more about each of the following opportunities we currently have available:
Divine Mercy Cenacle — Lectio Divina — Men’s Bible Study — Pastries With Paul
Seasonal Studies — Upcoming Events — Women’s Bible Study — Women’s Evening of Reflection
Divine Mercy Cenacle
Everyone is invited to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet for any and all intentions presented. This small group is associated with the lay ministry arm of the Divine Mercy Movement, The Eucharistic Apostles of Divine Mercy.
The Cenacle meets on the 1st Wednesday of the month, after the 9:00 am Mass to study the Diary of St. Faustina, as well as Scripture and the Catechism in regards to Divine Mercy.
Lectio Divina is a Bible Study that takes you Deeper into the Sunday Gospel Readings.
Sessions will meet on Mondays starting in September 2022. There will be both morning (10:00-11:30 am) and evening (7:00-8:30 pm) sessions.
Men’s Bible Study
Our Men’s Bible Study meets in the Fall and Spring to study Scripture through the Ascension Presents programs. This group meets on Tuesday evenings.
Please contact Vince Marcantonio at email@example.com for more information.
Pastries with Paul
Pastries With Paul is a new series here at St. Clare. During this informal monthly study, we’ll explore the writings of Saint Paul in light of their context and culture, as well as survey and discuss the general themes found within the letters.
Meetings are the second Thursday of the month (August to May) from 10:00-11:00 am in Room 12. You do not need to attend every session. Click HERE for more information and to register so we can keep you up-to-date with information on the group.
Contact Vince Marcantonio at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or help registering.
We offer a variety of seasonal studies, consecrations, and meditations for parishioners at St. Clare.
Like the Bible Studies, these groups meet for a set number of weeks, often planned around a particular time of importance in the liturgical calendar. You can look for these groups in the bulletin, the website, and on social media.
If you are interested in leading a group please contact Vincent Marcantonio at email@example.com at least six weeks before you would like the group to begin.
We offer many one-time events throughout the year which help us to dive deeper into our faith. These opportunities are advertised in the bulletin, online, and on social media at least three week prior to the events to allow for registration.
For information on particular events or to let us know what you’d like to learn more about, please contact Vince Marcantonio at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Women’s Bible Study
The Women’s Bible Study meets in the Fall and Spring to study Scripture through the Walking With Purpose programs. These programs range anywhere from 4-22 weeks. Sessions are offered on Wednesday morning and evenings.
Please contact Michele Nagrost at email@example.com for more information.
Women’s Evening of Reflection
Women’s Evening of Reflection is a monthly group where the ladies of the parish are invited for community, food, and a spiritual reflection on relevant topics of the day.
