Mark your calendars: We will be honoring our 2024 graduates at our 5:00pm Sunday Mass on May 19th! Graduates, wear your cords and gown & come celebrate with us. Please submit a grad photo, a preschool photo, and any future plans for the graduate by Monday, May 13 to be included in our graduate slideshow through the RSVP form on our website. This includes all high school, college, Masters, and Doctorate graduates. #classof2024 #stclareacworth

Here at St. Clare, we are deeply grateful for all who volunteer their time and talent to our various ministries, services, apostolates, and teams.

In recognition of your service and hard work, all volunteers are invited to our special Volunteer Appreciation Mass on Wednesday, May 15 at 6:30pm with a reception immediately to follow. Please RSVP on our website so that we can plan accordingly.

Our saint of the week is St. Bernadette of Lourdes

Our saint of the week is St. Bernadette of Lourdes, feast day on April 16. She grew up in a very poor family as the oldest of 6 children. On 11 February 1858, around the time of her first Communion, she received a vision of Mary in a grotto, an apparition now known as Our Lady of Lourdes. She received seventeen more visions in the next five months, and was led to a spring of healing waters. Always sick herself, and often mistreated by her superiors, she died with a prayer for Mary‘s aid. Since the appearances of Mary to young Bernadette in 1858, more than 200 million people have visited the shrine of Lourdes and there have been countless healings and miracles from the healing waters. St. Bernadette was also found to have an incorruptible body 30 years after her death. St. Bernadette, pray for us!
