Parish Christmas Card Contest 2024
Christmas is just around the corner, and we want your creativity to help spread the joy of the season. This year, we’re excited to invite our parishioners to participate in our Christmas Card Artwork Contest! The winning design will be featured on the cover of our parish Christmas card.
What’s the Contest About?
We’re looking for artwork that reflects the spirit of Christmas. Whether it’s the Nativity scene, the Holy Family, angels, an image of St. Clare itself, we encourage you to let your imagination run wild. And here’s the best part—all forms of media are welcome! You can submit a painting, drawing, digital art, photography, etc. or anything else that inspires you. All ages are welcome to submit artwork.
We’ll narrow down the submissions to the top 5 finalists, and then the parish community will get to vote for their favorite on our Facebook page. The winning artwork will be showcased on the cover of our parish Christmas card!
How to Enter
It’s easy to participate! Here’s how:
- Create your artwork: Make something that celebrates the meaning and beauty of Christmas.
- Submit your work:
- For digital submissions, send a high-quality JPEG or PNG file to bulletin@stclarecc.org.
- For physical submissions, drop your artwork off on Wednesday, October 30 between the hours of 10am and 4pm.
- Deadline: Make sure to submit your work by Friday, November 1, 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Contest Timeline
- Submission Deadline: All entries are due by November 1, 2024.
- Voting: The top 5 designs will be posted on Facebook, and parishioners will vote for their favorite from November 4-8, 2024.
- Winner Announcement: We’ll announce the winner on Sunday, November 10, 2024 during the 10:30am Mass.
Contest Rules
To make sure everything goes smoothly, here are a few important rules to keep in mind:
- One entry per person.
- The artwork must be original and created by the person submitting it.
- Designs must be appropriate for a church setting, reflecting the religious significance of the Christmas season.
- By submitting your artwork, you grant the parish the right to use your design for the Christmas card and other promotional materials.
- Winner must be a registered parishioner of St. Clare of Assisi.
