St. Clare is blessed to have you as a volunteer and thanks you for your generous service to a ministry by enriching our parish family and honoring our parish mission statement.

St. Clare of Assisi complies with Archdiocesan Safe Environment policies and procedures in accordance with the U.S. Bishop’s Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. The Safe Environment programs are in place to help educate involved parties on how they can contribute with the promise to protect our children, young people, and vulnerable individuals from abuse.

To be Safe Environment compliant all adult volunteers who work or have contact with children, youth, and/or vulnerable individuals must have passed a background screening through the Archdiocese of Atlanta and attended a live three (3) hour VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children (PGC) training session. Volunteer requirements are listed for each ministry on our website.

Volunteers who do not have contact with children, youth, and/or vulnerable individuals will only need to complete a Volunteer Application form. Minor volunteers (ages 13-17) are required to complete a Minor Volunteer Application form & School Reference form. Homeschooled minors must provide 3 non-family references.

After contacting the Ministry Leader of your desire to volunteer, you will be contacted by the St. Clare Safe Environment Coordinator to begin a background screening and receive VIRTUS class information; or receive the required volunteer forms.
